I just adopted a beagle basset mix . I will have him in a few days. I have heard that this mix is very hard to house break and they can be super stubborn and have a really loud howl. I know all dogs are different and I will love my dog no matter what. I would just like an idea so I am well prepared when he comes home.

Something that I do that helps is to brush him while he is outside that was the hair gets brushed off outside instead on on our carpets inside
i have a beagle basset mix..and i love him to death but he sheds ALOT..does anyone know if theres any way to decrease the amount of hair??
